Show Up When AI Summarizes Local Search
Google AI Overviews, Bing Copilot, and Gemini are replacing the blue links for millions of local searches every day. Generative Engine Optimization is how your business stays visible when AI writes the answer.
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is the discipline of getting your business surfaced in AI-generated search results — specifically the local and consumer-search use cases. Google AI Overviews, Bing Copilot, Perplexity, and Gemini all rely on different signals than traditional Google SERPs, and most local businesses are invisible to them. We offer five services that fix that.

Our GEO services
AI Overview Optimization
Google AI Overviews now answer most local searches before the user ever scrolls. We optimize your content, schema, and entity signals so your business is the source they cite.
LocalBusiness Schema
Most local businesses have broken or missing LocalBusiness schema. We implement it correctly across single locations, multi-location chains, and service-area businesses.
Review Corpus Optimization
AI engines quote review snippets when summarizing local businesses. We optimize your review corpus — volume, sentiment, keywords, and structure — so the AI quotes the parts that win you customers.
AI Local Landing Pages
We build landing pages for every city × service combination in your market — not as thin doorway pages, but as substantive, AI-citable pages each with their own utility.
Multi-Engine AI Visibility
Google isn't the only AI search anymore. Bing Copilot, Gemini, Perplexity, and ChatGPT each have their own signal preferences — we optimize for each, not just one.
FREQUENTLY ASKED
Frequently asked questions
Is GEO the same as local SEO?
They overlap but aren’t the same. Local SEO targets the Google Map Pack and organic results for “near me” queries. GEO targets AI-generated summaries and answers — Google AI Overviews, Bing Copilot, ChatGPT location-aware responses. The signals overlap (NAP consistency, reviews, structured data) but the optimization tactics differ.
Which businesses need GEO most?
Service businesses with a physical or service-area presence: home services, medical, legal, dental, automotive, restaurants, real estate. If your customers ask AI for recommendations in your city, GEO matters. Pure-online national brands have a different optimization stack.
How long does GEO take to work?
Schema and on-page work shows up in AI answers within 2-4 weeks. Review-corpus optimization and authority signals compound over 3-6 months. AI Overview inclusion is the slowest — we’ve seen 4-8 months for new pages, faster for sites with existing authority.
Does GEO replace traditional SEO?
No. Traditional SEO still drives the majority of organic traffic for most businesses. GEO is additive — it captures the searches AI is intercepting before they reach the SERP. Run both.
Can you do GEO for chain locations?
Yes. Multi-location businesses are where GEO has the biggest payoff because the work scales — one schema implementation can cover 50+ storefronts. We handle franchise and chain GEO including location-page generation and review-corpus management.
